Exploration Station: Plinko Boards

This week in Exploration Station, we will be using math to explore probability, grid-making, and patterns.

Kids will learn about the bell curve and how it relates to probability by creating their very own plinko boards. They will have the opportunity to see the bell curve happen in real time with their creations! We'll be using foam board, thumb tacks, glue, popsicle sticks, and small beads to make our boards.

All materials will be provided and all are welcome to attend. If you are planning on bringing a large group (10+ people) please contact the Youth Librarian team for accommodations. This session may get messy so be sure to wear appropriate clothes!
