Exploration Station: Balloon Cars

In this week’s Exploration Station, kids will explore basic engineering and physics concepts by creating their very own balloon cars. 

They’ll learn about force, motion, and aerodynamics as they create cars powered by balloon air. We'll be using bottles, straws, wooden skewers, balloons, tape, rubber bands, and scissors to create moving cars.

All materials will be provided and all are welcome to attend. If you are planning on bringing a large group (10+ people) please contact the Youth Librarian team for accommodations.
