Program Description

Event Details

Join us for an enriching program with artist Susan Mullins Kwaronhia:wi. A proud Mohawk from the Kahnawake reserve in Canada, Susan now resides in Berea, Kentucky. She has studied the traditional songs, stories, dances, and crafts of her heritage under the guidance of the Elders and is dedicated to preserving and sharing her cultural legacy.

In this program, Susan will guide you through the creation of beautiful dreamcatchers and intricate beaded necklaces. While the dreamcatcher has its origins with the Ojibwe, it has been embraced and adapted by many Native nations. This hands-on workshop offers a special opportunity to connect with and celebrate Indigenous art forms.
