Event Details

Dive in to a new piece of software every month.  There are tons of free to use programs available, and some of them are actually useful!  Learn to edit video, design 3D models, create circuit boards, and more.

This month we will be using GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) to remove unwanted objects such as trash, power lines, and photo-bombers from a picture.  Sample pictures will be provided but you are more than welcome to bring your own pictures to work on, just save your pictures to USB flash drive and bring it with you.

In order to use our Maker Lab effectively you will need basic computer skills, including usage of a mouse or trackpad, general internet use, and the ability and desire to use and learn the software used to control the devices in our lab.
