Program Description
3D Printer Intro
Get started with the Joan Kleine Creative Studio's 3D printers! This introductory class will teach you the basics of preparing a 3D model for printing with our 3D printers.
Topics covered include:
- Safety guidelines
- Supported 3D model file formats
- Websites listing pre-existing models for 3D printing
- Websites and software for designing your own model for printing
- Preparing a model for printing
- Preparing the printers for a print
- Starting the print
This program is intended for ages 14 and up. Children 13 and younger are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
