Provides legal counsel to local government services; assists in child support collection, disability guardianship, and facilitating involuntary mental health and drug treatment. 

The Madison County Child Support Enforcement Office has a number of functions, including but not limited to establishing paternity for children born out of wedlock, establishing child support and medical support orders, seeking enforcement of those orders and locating absent parents.

Programs focus on agriculture and natural resources; horticulture; as well as family and consumer science. Also administers the youth 4H program.
