This program focuses on literacy through reading, music, movement, and play. It may get messy—please dress appropriately! Meant for ages 0-5. 

Presto Paul performs mind-bending optical illusions, builds crazy machines, and conducts wacky experiments. His show is packed with audience participation and family-friendly humor, making it fun for everyone.

Tiny Thinkers offers hands-on, play-based learning through themed activities in math, reading, science, and art, fostering development through playful experiences that engage and inspire young children. 

Music Time is an interactive program designed for children ages birth to 6 and their caregivers. Each week, we have a fun-filled session of singing, dancing, and exploring sounds with instruments like shakers, rhythm sticks, and scarves.

Sing, dance, and play with shaky eggs, rhythm sticks, and scarves. Through a playlist of familiar pre-recorded songs, children enjoy the benefits of repetition, which supports their development and love of music. Meant for ages 0-5.

Through hands-on experiments and fun, interactive stories, the Science Heroes get kids excited about the science that’s all around us as we celebrate the scientists who color our world with art!

Peaceful Play is designed with shy or neurodivergent children in mind, though all are welcome.

Drop off your donated materials for the FREE MARKET during this designated time. Since the Library can not store Free Market materials, this is the only time to bring your items in to donate to the market.

Need assistance navigating Ancestry.com or researching your family tree? Local historian and genealogy enthusiast Todd Moberly will be available in the library's Madison County Room on the first and third Monday of each month ready to help.

This program is designed for preschool-aged children (ages 3-5). Once your child has outgrown Toddler Time, they can move up to Story Time!

Explore structural integrity by using aluminum foil to craft boats of all shapes and sizes. Who will create the sturdiest boat that can hold the most weight? We'll have enough to accommodate all the trial and error you might face.
