This program focuses on literacy through reading, music, movement, and play. It may get messy—please dress appropriately! Meant for ages 0-5. 

The Liberty Nature Center, a wildlife rehabilitation in Kentucky, will bring live birds to the library. Audiences can see them up close and learn about behaviors, conservation, and rehabilitation efforts.

Tiny Thinkers offers hands-on, play-based learning through themed activities in math, reading, science, and art, fostering development through playful experiences that engage and inspire young children. 

Music Time is an interactive program designed for children ages birth to 6 and their caregivers. Each week, we have a fun-filled session of singing, dancing, and exploring sounds with instruments like shakers, rhythm sticks, and scarves.

Sing, dance, and play with shaky eggs, rhythm sticks, and scarves. Through a playlist of familiar pre-recorded songs, children enjoy the benefits of repetition, which supports their development and love of music. Meant for ages 0-5.

Featuring the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast, Steven’s Puppets showcases hand-painted scenery and intricately carved wooden marionettes. After the performance, you’ll have the chance to get an up-close look at the puppets!

Peaceful Play is designed with shy or neurodivergent children in mind, though all are welcome.

Bring in your own pre-washed cotton items (shirts, socks, hats, pillow cases, etc.) and we'll show you how to use soda ash dye to tie dye them!
