Need assistance navigating Ancestry.com or researching your family tree? Local historian and genealogy enthusiast Todd Moberly will be available in the library's Madison County Room on the first and third Monday of each month ready to help.

This program focuses on literacy through reading, music, movement, and play. It may get messy—please dress appropriately! Meant for ages 0-5. 

Jason Lindsey, a nationally recognized STEM educator, makes science exciting for everyone! In his show there will be hands-on experiments like creating colorful twisters, rainbow streamers, and explosive confetti. 

Music Time is an interactive program designed for children ages birth to 6 and their caregivers. Each week, we have a fun-filled session of singing, dancing, and exploring sounds with instruments like shakers, rhythm sticks, and scarves.

Sing, dance, and play with shaky eggs, rhythm sticks, and scarves. Through a playlist of familiar pre-recorded songs, children enjoy the benefits of repetition, which supports their development and love of music. Meant for ages 0-5.

Chris Yantek from the Cincinnati Circus blends comedy and magic in a charming way. You might even get the chance to become a magician's assistant during the show!

Peaceful Play is designed with shy or neurodivergent children in mind, though all are welcome.

Have you ever wondered what makes things glow? We'll be using special glow powder, glue, and activator to to create slime that glows in the dark. This week, we are focusing on science.

Join us outside the Richmond location for a blacksmithing program with Bob Montgomery. After a demonstration, the first 20 kids can forge their own iron hook with Bob’s guidance.
