3D Printer Intro

Get started with the Joan Kleine Creative Studio's 3D printers! This introductory class will teach you the basics of preparing a 3D model for printing with our 3D printers.

Topics covered include:

  • Safety guidelines
  • Supported 3D model file formats
  • Websites listing pre-existing models for 3D printing
  • Websites and software for designing your own model for printing
  • Preparing a model for printing
  • Preparing the printers for a print
  • Starting the print

This program is intended for ages 14 and up. Children 13 and younger are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

This is a program for preschool age children ages 3-5. When your child is too old for Baby & Toddler Time, move up to Story Time.
