Join our Teen Advisory Group (TAG) in the search for cryptids! 

Marie Mitchell and Mason Smith, former journalists, explore Kentucky’s eerie sightings in their book Paranormal Kentucky.

Build a simple levitation device using a bendy straw, paper, tape, and tin foil. By blowing air through the straw, you’ll learn how faster air creates lower pressure, lifting the ball. This week, we are focusing on technology.

Join us for an afternoon of fun STEAM activities! From LEGO challenges to arts and crafts, fun experiments and games, learning through play is our goal! Each of the four stations focuses on a different aspect of STEAM education.

Peaceful Play is designed with shy or neurodivergent children in mind, though all are welcome.

Come hang out with friends or meet new friends over a cup of coffee (or tea). Our coffee cart will have everything you need to create a delicious brew. Games, simple crafts, and fun will be provided!

Drop off your donated materials for the FREE MARKET during this designated time. Since the Library can not store Free Market materials, this is the only time to bring your items in to donate to the market. 

Bring items you no longer need but someone else can use. Take things you find and can use. We never know just what will show up. 

Step back in time for a mini Renaissance festival, hosted by EKU’s NOVA students! Enjoy craft booths, a dragon photo op, and play money to spend at various booths. A program full of medieval magic awaits!

Teen Tech lets teens explore fun, hands-on STEM activities like tech experiments, engineering challenges, and more. It’s a chance to experience the creative side of technology while building skills and having fun!

When sound waves hit your eardrum, you hear sound. A tonoscope lets you see sound. Using recycled materials like plastic containers, paper towel rolls, a balloon, and salt, we’ll make one. Do all sounds look the same?
