Join us for fun literacy-based group activities for the very young! Babies and toddlers and the adults who love them will make new friends as they play and learn. We play with a parachute, sing songs, learn finger plays, play games, dance, make music and share picture books. After our informal circle time we get out the toys and play together. Get started with the Joan Kleine Creative Studio's embroidery machine! Our single-needle embroidery machine can create simple embroidery like initials all the way to making your own decorative patches for clothing.

Topics covered include:

  • Winding and installing the bobbin

  • Preparing your fabric for embroidery in the frame
  • Using the built-in designs and text patterns
