We love learning different types of literacy through reading, music, movement, and play. It may get messy—please dress appropriately! Meant for ages 0-5.

Welcome to the Madison County Public Library's Makerspace crash course. Every week we will do an introduction to the various machine and equipment housed in the Makerspace.
Whether you're just beginning your journey in artistic expression, or an experienced artist looking to share or expand your skills, stop by the Creative Studio and join fellow creative-minded people! Share your works in progress, talk about your craft and process, collaborate with other kinds of artists, or just have a place to work with others. From visual to performing arts, from pure aesthetics to functional designs, everyone's got a space to share their knowledge and skills with each other.
Plan a mosaic design for your favorite cryptid using paper tiles on a canvas. Think about tile arrangements, patterns, symmetry, proportions, and area coverage. Will your creation look like the creature?
Join us for an afternoon of fun STEAM activities! From LEGO challenges to arts and crafts, fun experiments and games, learning through play is our goal! Each of the four stations focuses on a different aspect of STEAM education.
The library will be at the 2nd Annual Community Baby Shower. Join us and learn about the services offered at the library, browse and check out books. There will be a variety of local community resources for families and babies.
