Sound Studio Intro - Composition & Production

Get started with the Joan Kleine Creative Studio's Sound & Recording facility! This introductory class will teach you the basics of producing sound and composing music with Ableton Live.

Topics covered will include:

  • Using the MIDI keyboard controller with Ableton Live
  • Choosing an instrument in Ableton
  • Recording a clip and sequencing MIDI by hand
  • Using MIDI and Audio effects
  • Creating an arrangement of your track
  • Rendering your track

This program is intended for ages 14 and up. Children 13 and younger are welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
