Join us on Facebook LIVE for Read-aloud and Play! We love to read stories, sing songs, learn finger-plays, and move our bodies. Our Wednesday stream focuses on toddlers, and our Friday stream focuses on Preschool-aged children.
Story Time
We promote preschool literacy with conversation, parachute play, music, movement, and picture books. Activities end with stations (occasionally preschool crafts). It may get messy—please dress appropriately! Meant for ages 3-5.
Madison County Public Library Outreach Services will be participating in Richmond's annual "Living History Days" taking place at Battlefield Park in Richmond on April 23rd and 24th, 2020.
Peaceful Play
Peaceful Play is designed with shy or neurodivergent children in mind, though all are welcome. Unlike our other early childhood programs, this one is intentionally structured to avoid over-stimulation, prioritizing play, social interaction, and self-care. Meant for ages 0-5.
This week we will be showing Cats, rated PG (1hr 50mins.). All are welcome to attend.
