MCPL Outreach is proud to partner with Richmond Parks and Recreation to bring you our fourth Annual "ASTRONOMICAL NIGHT of Fun and Learning" on the evening of Friday, September 24th at Irvine-McDowell Park in Richmond! This awesome family event will feature a ton of enriching, educational, and fun things for all ages. Come and enjoy food from a selection of local food trucks, activities from Eastern Kentucky University's Gear Up office and Hummel Planetarium, Richmond's Stick + Brush Studio, and more! The evening will culminate with a showing of Disney/Pixar's classic astronomical tale "Wall-E" at dusk! Activities will begin at 6:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
